As promised heres a review on the GEO Princess Mimi Chocolate Brown circle lenses, designed by Tsubasa Masuwaka <3. This lens is from the Princess Mimi Series (there is also a Princess Mimi Cafe series but I’ll introduce them later if anyone is interested). They are probably one of the most popular circle lenses and are also featured/worn in many gal magazines.

Color / Design: (4 out of 5) To be honest at first I wasn’t so keen on getting it mainly because of the color and design. I prefer yellows, light brown and gray colors, that gives a reptile / cat eyes effect. I thought the Chocolate Brown’s design and the very obvious color change makes your iris looks like they are protruding outwards unnaturally (the contrasting color gives a large depth difference), also I’m not a fan of the “pixelized” effect because it is very unnatural and fake close up (makes me self conscious at times). I know i’m picky lol but here me out! After all that I still decided to buy them. At first wear, meh. Second, gradually loving it…a lot LOL. The design is very eccentric and unique indeed. It’s the total effect that it gives off, eye-catching yet very subtle. That’s because in person the color pay-off isn’t as bright in comparison to Tsubasa’s promotion pictures. It comes off as soft brown with a red undertone. I guess a good side is that the color is quite opaque. Despite my concern for pixelized designs, when worn i find they blend in well with the whole design. From a relative conversation-distance I think they are absolutely stunning. But of course if you stare into my eyes they will appear to be very fake, some of my friends said that it looked “too strong”. I suggest these must be worn with make-up.
Enlargement: (5 out of 5) Perfect! But for my eye size only so I can’t say for others. I find any size deviating from 15.0mm is too small/large for me. Nothing to complain here.
Comfort: (4 out of 5) They are relatively comfortable, probably one of the most comfortable GEO lenses I own. My eyes are the dry type, can’t produce as much moisture than normal and tires easily. I can last for 6 hours feeling fine with occasional eye drops depending on my surroundings.
Overall: Gorgeous, wearable, eye-catching lenses, period. I can understand why it’s so popular.
Stay tuned for next circle lens review, GEO Princess Mimi Sesame Gray~
